As you know we are about to launch Phase 3 of the Building Project which is to widen the main worship area, raise the roof and build a new Baptistry.
Preparatory work has started with the storage room and wall into the old vestry having been knocked down. A work partrty has been arranged for Sunday 30th March to clear the hall for work to begin the next day.
Hopefully, we will be able to post regular updates and pictures as the work progresses.

The pine cladding starts to go up.
Still lots to varnish!

The special reflective lining goes on ready to receive the pressure hosed recycled roofing tiles.
This was followed by thick insulation boards.
We won't be in a cold church!

Putting the reclaimed tiles on the roof

A hearty and wet band of volunteers pressure washed the old tiles so we could recycle them.

The cross struts and reflective covering go on the roof.
