Decision time

There comes a point in your spiritual journey when you have found what you can about God and who Jesus is. There then comes a point of decision. You either have to discount Jesus' claims or accept them. If you accept His claims to be God, you need to make a personal commitment to follow Him, making Him your personal Lord and Saviour.

If you would like to do that, you can pray the simple prayer below based on the prayer in the "Why Jesus?" booklet. You are always welcome to speak to any member of the Leadership Team and talk through what making a commitment means.

Dear Lord Jesus,

I'm sorry for the things I have done wrong in my life and ask your forgiveness. (Take a few minutes to think about anything that particularly troubles you). I turn away from all the things I know that are wrong in my life.

Thank you that you died on the cross for me so that I could be forgiven and be set free from my sins.

Thank you that you offer me forgiveness and the gift of Your Holy Spirit which I now thankfully receive.

Please come into my life by Your Holy Spirit and be with me forever.

Thank you, Lord Jesus. Amen.
