Hiring a Room
We believe the church is a facility for the community as much as it is a place to worship God and as such it is available for hire. Our charges are as low as we can make them to ensure the local community can make the most of them. We try to be as flexible as possible about our charges and are happy to discuss them.
The building is primarily a church though, and occaisionally it has to be used during the week for special services such as funerals.
The church is available for hire as a whole or as seperate rooms. Main Hall, Rear Hall and Coffee Bar.
Room Descriptions
The Church comprises a large hall with smaller hall to the rear and a coffee bar. There is a small office and normal and disabled toilet. There is parking to the rear of the curch for several cars.
Main Hall
A multi-function worship area with a raised dais area and Baptistry. There are multi-media facilities including a large retractable screen and projector, various microphone and music points and full mixer facilities. The hall can be cleared to be used for a variety of social activities. There are chairs for about 60 people (more are availble and up to 75 people can fit in the hall if required) and about 50 people can be accomodated at tables.
Rear Hall
The rear hall is smaller but fully self-contained and can be used totally seperately to the rest of the building and can be entered at the rear of the church. It includes a small kitchenette with tea and coffee making facilities and two toilets.
Coffee Bar
The coffee bar has seating for fifteen people and includes a kitchen. It can also be used for informal meetings
Current use of the church. This is subject to change as some groups meet for short periods. All events are weekly unless specified eg. 1st week or weeks 1&3.
